Hello, friends! My name is Rebekah Uhl.

I am a Community Herbalist and Women's Health Educator, and working towards further certification as a Clinical Herbalist with Naturally Healthy Academy (NH) and the American Herbalist Guild (AHG). In my studies, I have spent several hundred hours on developing my understanding of pathophysiology, biochemistry, nutrition, materia medica/therapeutic herbalism, pharmacy, pharmacognosy and dispensing, clinical skills, and the history & philosophy of herbal medicine.

I firmly and wholeheartedly believe that knowledge of herbal medicine is an indispensable asset to every family, whether it is your preference to do everything "natural" or not so much. As a stay-at-home mama kept on her toes by three littles under 5 years old, creating an online resource for families seemed the best approach for sharing what I've learned: hence, the beginning of Herbs in Family Healthcare! I hope I can be of service to you through my growing treasury of posts and resources and my consulting practice.
